You will never buy that horrid branded 'dip' in a jar again once you've tried this quick and easy peasy recipe!
What you'll need:
2 Ripe and Ready to Eat Advocados
8-10 Baby Tomatoes
1/2 Meduim Red Onion
8-10 Drops of Tabasco
1 Lime
2 Cloves of Garlic
Rock Salt & Black pepper
The How To...
Firstly, cut open your advocadoes and score them until you hit the skin in a noughts and crosses fashion, squish out the contents of each half in a bowl until all the skins are empty. LEAVE THE ADVOCADO CHUNKS ALONE, no stirring or mushing-by the time you have added all your ingredients and stirred those in, the advocado will be just the right ratio of chunky-smooth, perfection.
Cut your onion and tomatoes into small chunks, quarter the tomatoes if you like and just cut the red onion to around the same sized chunks, squeeze in one lime. Mix these in with the advocado, add a pinch of salt and pepper, fold in gently together.
Using a garlic crusher add your two cloves of garlic, and roughly 8 drops of tobasco, stir!
Resist temptation and put the mix in the fridge for at least 20 minutes. It's just so much better this way, at 15 minutes take it out and taste test, adding in more lime, salt, tabasco or pepper to taste.
Simple and scrummy.
Definitely making this sometime this week! Have some avacados in the fridge ready to roll and needing to be used, yum yum :)
